Invisalign uses a series of custom, clear plastic trays called aligners to gradually shift your teeth into place. Each tray moves your teeth a small amount. You wear one for about a week or two, then move to the next in the sequence, until your teeth reach the position we planned together.
Unlike traditional braces, the trays are clear, removable, and low-profile. Take them out for a meal, for brushing, or before a photo.

Each tray is worn roughly 20–22 hours a day and swapped every one to two weeks, with periodic check-ins to track progress.
Retention
Once active treatment ends, we fit you for a retainer (Vivera or a traditional in-house retainer) to hold your new alignment.

Invisalign cost depends on how much movement your case needs. Mild spacing costs less to correct than a full arch of crowding, so we don’t publish a flat price. We’ll go over a real number at your consult, after we’ve reviewed your scan.
We’ll check whether your plan puts an orthodontic benefit toward clear aligners. Invisalign typically isn’t a Medicaid-covered service.

Yes, many of our Invisalign patients are adults who didn’t want visible braces. Clear trays fit into a working schedule without changing how your smile looks day to day.
It depends on how much movement your case needs. We’ll give you a realistic range at your consult, after reviewing your scan, not a generic number before we’ve even seen your teeth.
Most patients feel some pressure for the first day or two with each new tray, similar to a dull ache, and it eases as you adjust. If something feels off, call us: we’d rather check early than have you push through it.
Typically, yes. A retainer holds your new alignment in place once active treatment ends. We’ll fit you with Vivera retainers or a traditional in-house retainer and walk you through exactly what that looks like for your case.
Often, yes. We typically sequence a combined plan (straightening first, then whitening or veneers), so each step builds on the last instead of working against it.
